The rollercoaster I didn’t see coming
The location is serene yet a quick drive to downtown. my room was enormous, clean, and featured a lovely setup with heated tile floors in the bathroom. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty! !
Limited kitchenware was available, so be sure to bring your own if you plan to cook. The garden was a bit overgrown, which didn’t align with the otherwise charming aesthetic of the mansion.

The welcoming atmosphere made for a delightful stay, surrounded by beautiful gardens and just a brisk walk from the iconic Craigdarroch Castle, which we enjoyed exploring together. I loved waking up to the smell of warm scones, creating a perfect start to our city strolls in such a lovely part of town.

Big hype, little substance
While the historical charm of this inn is undeniable, it may not live up to the lofty expectations. The breakfast offerings, though plentiful, can feel repetitive. Although the location is excellent, with lovely gardens nearby, the absence of unique interactions with staff leaves something to be desired.

The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained, even as a heritage building. The staff genuinely creates a inviting atmosphere. it felt like home. The breakfast was truly delightful with tasteful options that exceeded my expectations. The view from my room of the garden was captivating, adding a serene touch to our stay.
The bathroom in the Westminster Chamber lacked adequate space, making it feel a bit cramped.

Staying in the Belfast Chamber was delightful! Spacious, charming, and a mere 15-minute walk from fabulous shops. Breakfasts impressed with their variety and taste. Only hiccup, the new staff was still getting familiar with nearby dining options. Overall, a lovely experience I'll cherish.
